Adele's '21' Certified Triple Platinum In US

Adele's '21' has been certified triple platinum after selling over three million copies in the US.

The London singer's album is now one of the highest-selling of the decade, as well as recently becoming the longest running number one album in the last forty years.

Adele's album has also now passed the three million sales in the UK and taken the title of the biggest-selling digital album to date in the US.

Adele's '21' has recently been nominated for this year's Mercury Prize award, along with the likes of Katy B, Elbow, Tinie Tempah, James Blake, PJ Harvey, Anna Calvi and Metronomy and others.
