Green Day performed fifteen new tracks at a surprise last minute show for fans at the Tiki Bar 1700 Placentia in California last week.
The band, who are currently working on the follow-up to 2009's '21st Century Breakdown, played almost an entire set of previously unheard songs.
Among the new tracks were 'Nuclear Family', 'Carpe Diem' and '8th Avenue Seranade' as well as a cover of Ozzy Osbourne's 'Goodbye To Romance'.
In a recent message on Twitter, singer Billie Joe Armstrong said they had “a tonne of new songs”, adding that they were “fresh and hi-energy”.
