Mitch Winehouse To Play Amy Winehouse Tribute Show At Royal Albert Hall

Mitch Winehouse is set to pay tribute to his daughter Amy Winehouse at a one-off show at the Royal Albert Hall.

Mitch will be supporting Ex-Boss singer Goss on October 21 and is hoping to raise awareness and support for the Amy Winehouse foundation.

Speaking about the show, Mitch said via Contact Music: "Through setting up the foundation in Amy's memory I have to come to realise that I can sing for Amy and raise money for her foundation, so when Matt Goss called me to ask me to open his show at the Royal Albert Hall this was a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness for the foundation."

He continued: "I immediately felt a strong rapport with Matt and he told me how he tragically lost his sister Caroline at a young age. I shared with Matt that Amy was a huge fan of Bros when she was a little girl and had their posters on her wall. These are warm memories and we agreed that the show would be a joyous occasion in memory of both his sister and Amy."

Toxicology tests this week revealed that Amy Winehouse's body contained no illegal drugs when she died.

The singer was found dead at her flat in Camden, North London on July 23. She was 27.
