Russell Brand led a special tribute to Amy Winehouse at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles.
The British comedian-turned-actor and friend of the late singer, told viewers to remember Winehouse for her music and urged addicts to get help.
"A lot of people just get the disease, not many people get the incredible talent that Amy was blessed with. Let's remember there is a solution. That solution is available,” said Brand, who has battled his own drug and alcohol problems.
Tony Bennett then presented a clip of him and Winehouse recording their duet of ‘Body And Soul’ before her sudden death last month.
The song will be released as a single on September 14 and also features on Bennett’s new album ‘Duets II’.
