Coldplay's Chris Martin has admitted that he felt 'suicidal' about the release of the band's latest album.
The album, released on Monday (October 24), includes latest single 'Paradise' and the band's duet with Rihanna 'Princess of China'.
Speaking about the his worries over their fans reaction, Martin told the Daily Star: ''The day our albums come out I want to kill myself. Really, I feel suicidal.''
"Before our albums are released I feel like we still own it, that we have control over our music. But once it's out there in the world it's no longer ours. I start to panic and think: 'What if people don't fall in love with this album? What if this is the one our biggest fans don't like?'"
Adding: "I'm more excited than ever about Mylo Xyloto as I think it's our best work. I'm hopeful others will love it."
