Ex-Guns N Roses man Slash has revealed that his group Velvet Revolver will step up their search for a new frontman later this year.
The group, consisting of three former Axel Rose bandmates, have been without a singer ever since Scott Weiland quit the band in 2008.
The classic rock outfit recently said how that they had recorded material with Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor before deciding to scrap it all together.
Slash, as well as Duff MacKagan, had previously stated the project was on the back burner due to other musical committments elsewehere.
But now the Birmingham-born shredder has unveiled new plans to Billboard to audition for singers, likely to take place during December.
