Hinds have announced details about their highly anticipated new album, Leave Me Alone, including a release date and tracklist as well as releasing the opening cut, 'Garden'. Check it out below.
Formally known as Deers, Hinds have been making waves in the UK and US for around a year now performing at festivals worldwide and conquering SXSW 2015 with a total number of 16 sets over the course of the festival.
Since they first broke the scene, Hinds have become DIY favourites praised for their clanging and brattish indie-psyche. Their debut album promises to serve as the "ultimate soundtrack for the best day ever spent with your four best friends", it sounds ideal.
Talking about Leave Me Alone the band said: "We've been one year writing this album only while we were home, and you guys know that didn't happen very often. but the good part of having to write songs so separately in time is that we wrote about very different feelings we've lived. these songs try to represent the 12 faces of love we've experienced."
"It's funny 'cause we thought this album would be all party and cheerfulness but SURPRISE. it's not!!!!! Feelings are more balanced, like in life. so suddenly we had a more sober - or even sad - album than we expected. Please don't think we've turned into depressive people or something, we've always been humans, it's just we're now showing it to you."
To accompany this announcement, Hinds have released 'Garden' which will serve as the opening track for their debut.
