Madonna has defended her high concert ticket prices, saying her fans should 'work all year' to spend money on concert tickets.
The singer, who has hinted that she will tour in support of her new album 'MDNA later this year, said music fans should be expected to pay top end prices to see her live.

In an interview with Newsweek, Madonna said: Start saving your pennies now. People spend $300 (£190) on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together and come to my show. I'm worth it.''
Madonna's new single 'Gimme All Your Luvin' - which features rappers Nicki Minaj and MIA - is reported to hit radio stations in the US on February 7,
MDNA' will be the singer's 12th studio album and is the follow-up to her 2008 album 'Hard Candy'.
