Blur's Graham Coxon has revealed that the band are planning to take things 'up a notch' for their reunion show later this year.
The band confirmed last month (February 21) that they will play a special one-off show in Hyde Park this summer to mark the end of the London Olympics.
The band, who performed in Hyde Park back in 2009 for their reunion gigs - will also be joined by The Specials and New Order for the event on Sunday, August 12.
Speaking about their plans for the show, Coxon told nme: "We're going to start rehearsing soon and we've been back playing together for a bit.
''We're going to concentrate on making it a really nice experience in the summer. We're going to try and get it up a notch from 2009, which seems almost impossible to me in a way because the Glastonbury appearance was so phenomenally amazing. We're going to try and go one better."
