    Tenacious D stream new album 'Rize of the Fenix'

    Tenacious D return from the ashes with their new album ‘Rize of the Fenix’ - which you can listen to below in full.

    Consisting of comedian Kyle Gass and actor Jack Black, the album will officially be available on May 14th, following their two previous albums, ‘The Pick of Destiny’ back in 2006 and their self-titled debut album in 2001, ‘Tenacious D’.

    In conjunction with the release of the album, the guys will be playing five shows around the UK in June. These include London’s 02 Academy Brixton on the 5th, 6th and 7th, Manchester’s 02 Apollo on the 10th and finally Glasgow’s SECC on the 12th. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.

    The duo are also set to play at Download Festival on the 8th and 10th of June this summer, alongside names such as The Prodigy, Metallica and newly reformed Black Sabbath. ‘Rize of the Fenix’ features big names throughout the album, such as Dave Grohl, who has previously drummed for the band, as well as John Spiker, the bassist from Big Talk.

    Produced by John Kimbrough at his home in Los Angeles, the album consisting of 13 tracks will include ‘Low Hangin’ Fruit’ and 'They F**ked Our Asses'.
