Coldplay aren't really in need of extra cash, but frontman Chris Martin is clearly weighing up his options - and his income - offering a night with the band's bassist for a million pounds.
The soft-rocking frontman claims that a night with Guy Berryman would be worth £1million - after the band this week auctioned off Mylo Xyloto artwork to raise cash for charity, Kids Company. He hinted that in 2013 the band would be offering something a little more intimate to wealthy, and sex-starved fans.
"A date with our bass player would be worth a million or more, specifically a night with our bass player," said Chris Martin at the charity auction, reports The Sun newspaper. "You know the film Indecent Proposal?
"For next year’s fundraiser we’re thinking of something like that."
Coldplay have this week confirmed they have begun work on their new album, the follow up to Mylo Xyloto.

There were rumours that Coldplay were planning a three-year break after Martin had said ontsage in Australia that 'we might not be back here for three years.'
Martin, however, was keen to express that the band have no intentions of stopping anytime soon. He told the Daily Star: "I'm fortunate to do what I do and no way do I want to stop. This three-year break idea only came about because I said at a gig in Australia that we might not be back there for three years."
He continued: "That's probably true, but that's just how a world tour works. No chance are we taking a three-year break."
