She might be one of the biggest names in music worldwide, but that doesn’t mean Beyonce doesn’t get nervous ahead of big performance, and she deals with it by making love to her husband.

The ‘Crazy In Love’ singer admitted that getting intimate with Jay-Z is what calms her nerves, as she gets ready to perform at the Super Bowl later today (February 3).

Speaking at an NFL press conference she said: “When I get nervous or I don’t have everything together I like to make love to my husband.”

The singer has also recently admitted that she is anxious ahead or her half time performance after coming under fire for using a backing track during her inauguration performance.

“I’ve been preparing for five months for this moment. I'm happy I’ll have my husband there with me - it’s every woman’s dream to feel this way about her husband,” she explained.

The pop goddess also recently revealed that her daughter, Blue Ivy, had begun talking and that motherhood is the most fulfilling thing she’s ever done.

Beyonce's Super Bowl performance is one of the most eagerly anticipated in years

Yesterday (February 2) Beyonce had her plans for a big announcement scuppered when ticketing website LiveNation released a poster for her world tour before it had been officially announced.

The tour's title, The Mrs. Carter Show, has sparked speculation that her husband might put in a guest appearance.

Below: Everything we want to see at Beyonce's Super Bowl performance

  • Destiny's Child: The one that we ALL want to happen - a Destiny's Child reunion. The rumours are already swirling, and with an upcoming Greatest Hits album in the works, why not use the Super Bowl to showcase - well, the band's greatest hits? Hey, Destiny's Child - if you're taking requests, please play 'Survivor'!

  • Nip Slip: We ALL remember Janet Jackson's famous wardrobe malfunction at the 2004 Super Bowl and it was pretty much the best thing ever - or at least the complete drama that followed it was. If something similar happened to Beyonce then we can only dream of the sheer hysteria and headlines we'd be able to enjoy for weeks after.

  • Jay-Z: Second only to a potential Destiny's Child reunion, the husband-and-wife duo should team up for at least one song. It wouldn't be Jay-Z's first time performing at the Super Bowl - the rapper opened the Super Bowl XLIV and won an Emmy for it. Two heads are always better than one, Beyonce - take note!

  • Solange Knowles: There are a number of collabs that Beyonce could rock at the Super Bowl, but a duet with her sister Solange would definitely be up there - especially since Solange recently became ultra-cool thanks to her new single, 'Losing You'.

  • Jazz hands: This year's Super Bowl is hosted by New Orleans and we'd absolutely love for Beyonce to give her songs a distinctive jazz tinge. New Orleans is famous for jazz and whether it's through saxaphone, horns or the blues, we're sure Beyonce would make it her own.

  • New material: What better opportunity to debut a new song than to an audience of - on average- 80-90 million people? The star apparently has two new albums planned for 2013, so it wouldn't be too difficult for her to play just a little teaser of what could be coming our way.
