XL Recordings have shared an amazing new poster for the upcoming episode of The Simpsons, which stars Sigur Ros. See the image below.

The Icelandic band not only appear in the episode but have also recorded new music for the show, as well as contributing a cover of the theme song.

The episode is titled 'The Saga of Carl', and sees Lenny, Carl, Homer and Moe all collectively winning a lottery ticket. As the band themselves explained, "After Carl snags the ticket and flees to his home country of Iceland, the guys head there in hot pursuit.

"The band’s music scores Homer’s visit to Iceland, marking an unprecedented musical collaboration between the show and a band."

The show's creator, Matt Groening, said, "I’m a longtime fan of Sigur Rós, and we’re honored to bring their Icelandic, ambient moods to our goofy cartoon show."

Justin Bieber also recently featured in an episode of the show, but only had a ten second cameo. The episode sees Bart being encouraged to take up piano lessons by Marge, but he initially refuses until he meets his piano teacher, who convinces him to enter a talent show.

At the door, Justin Bieber also attempts to enter the '10 and below' talent show with his manager Scooter Braun, but is turned away for being too old - and 'clearly Justin Bieber'.

In the clip, Bieber says, "That's another twenty five bucks we'll never see! Gosh!" before leaving.
