Sigur Rós have covered the 'The Rains of Castemere' from the hugely popular Game of Thrones TV series, which returns to screens this week.
The group who will also be making a cameo in the fourth season of the show, will also be covering the track which soundtracked the now infamous Red Wedding scene from series three. You can listen to a short preview here.
The song was written by franchise creator George R.R. Martin, who the band have recently been seen posing with on their instagram.
The new series of Game of Thrones begins on 7 April and as any fan will testify is full of death, misery and general awesomeness. 'The Rains of Castemere' is the theme that precedes tragedy in the show and has been previously covered by The National for an episode in season 2.
