Well, we didn't see this one coming. One day before he was scheduled to headline the Friday night at the Birmingham leg of Wireless festival, and two days before his show at London's installment, Drake has pulled out of his appearance.
Citing health problems, the Canadian rapper confirmed the news this afternoon after a morning of rumours circulating on Twitter. Wireless have since announced Kanye West will now headline the Saturday night as well as the Friday night of the London leg, whilst if you're in Birmingham, you'll err, get an extended set from Rudimental and a £20 voucher. Ouch.
Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of pissed off Drake fans out there. The rapper did perform three dates at London's O2 back in March, but they sold out pretty quickly so it's safe to say a lot of people brought a Wireless ticket just to see Drake.
Fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration at today's announcement. However, there's also quite a lot of people who are happy with the news...
didnt wanna see drake at wireless anyway... #lies

Drake is no longer headlining Saturday Wireless. Is this some sort of sick joke? Kanye is replacing him, but it's just not the same 😩.
