Both Cee Lo Green and Megadeth have cancelled gigs in Israel due to the ongoing conflict in the region.
Cee Lo Green was scheduled to appear at Jerusalem's Independence Park on 19 August, while Megadeth were set for a show tomorrow (6 August) in Tel Aviv. Neither will be taking place.
Israeli promotor Carmi D Wurtman told the Hollywood Reporter: "[Cee Lo Green] and his crew really wanted to come, but unfortunately we were the ones who had to postpone it, because this is not the right time to advertise and push a concert, and also because Irael Defence Forces' regional Home Front Command allows gatherings of up to a thousand people only."
The region is currently in the midst of a violent conflict with Palestine, during which 1,800 Palestinians have been killed, most of whom were civilians. The attacks are an attempt to suppress Palestinian military group Hamas, who currently govern the Gaza Strip.
Green and Megadeth are just two of a string of artists to have called off shows in Israel recently, which includes Backstreet Boys, Paul Anka and Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
