Grimes has hit out at music publications such as Pitchfork for reporting that she has just scrapped her new album, when it actually happened over half a year ago.
In an interview with The New York Times, the singer said that while working on her new album, she realised "it sucked", so she "threw it out and started again."
However, when publications such as Pitchfork wrote, "Grimes has revealed that she has scrapped recordings for her next album and begun again from scratch," she took to Twitter to slam their reporting.
Pitchfork sucks. I scrapped that album like 7 months ago lol. "music journalism" smdh ... haha

Elsewhere in the interview, the singer discussed the mixed reaction her recent release 'Go', which was originally written for Rihanna, has received. "It upset a lot of my fans," she said, "and I get why it upsets them. Everybody was like, 'Oh, Grimes is pandering to the radio'."
