With more and more of 2015's European festival line-ups being announced as winter continues, the latest seemingly came when Kiss' Gene Simmons' leaked the bill for a day of Download 2015 of Twitter.

Hard-rock fans were briefly thrown into a world of excitement, as the line-up posted shows that Kiss, Slash, Motley Crue and Enter Shikari were among the initial batch of acts due to play at Donington Park on Sunday 14 June.

However, as Decibelle reports, the line-up was soon said to be fake by Download organiser Andy Copping and the tweet subsequently deleted. However, here it is - courtesy of Decibelle:

It may only be a matter of time before the first acts for Download Festival 2015 are revealed, as last year's first announcement came at the beginning of November. Download 2015 was headlined by Avenged Sevenfold, Linkin Park and Aerosmith.

Download Festival 2015 will take place at Donington Park from Friday12 - Sunday 15 June. For tickets and more information, visit here
