A man has been banned from drinking alcohol after he dialled 999 claiming to be Nicki Minaj.
Steven Brown, from County Antrim in Northern Ireland, called the emergency services twice on Christmas Day despite having an ASBO prohibiting him from calling unless it's a genuine emergency.
As Sky News reports, the first call claimed that two men were threatening his life, but he was too drunk to give any more details. The second went slightly more left field - the man now insisted that he was Nicki Minaj and that there was a poltergeist in his house.
The prosecution said that Brown had recently been released "after serving a sentence for offences of a similar nature."
Lord Justice Coghlin released Brown on £250 bail, banned him from buying or drinking alcohol and from dialling 999, except in an emergency. He also described him as "essentially a nuisance."
