Beardyman set to play One Album per Hour gigs next week

Two albums in two nights for supergroup masterclass in improvisation

Beardyman will be bringing his hugely inventive 'One Album Per Hour' sessions to the Jazz Cafe next week, to create two albums in two nights.

Darren Foreman will be joined in this endeavour by some of the most respected musicians in the business, from Captain Beefheart’s lead guitarist Gary Lucas, to Andy Gangadeene, plus a winner of BBC Radio 4’s Poetry Slam and the 2009 Female World Champion Beatboxer.  The night will see them making it up as they go along to create two albums in two hours. As anyone who has seem live at his countless festival appearances, this is not one to be missed.

Next week's gig Beardyman's previous critically acclaimed One Album per Hour shows which brought together Jack Black, Tim Minchin and Peter Serafinowicz for albums created in partnership with Google and YouTube.

Taking place 20 and 21 April, his guests at the Jazz Cafe will be Gary Lucas, Steve Lawson, Andy Gangadeen, The Bays, Dizraeli, Leen, Arthur Lea, Belatrix and Rob Lewis. For tickets visit here.
