FutureFest is a weekend of performances, talks and immersive experiences which will take place at London's Vinopolis on 14 & 15 March.
George Clinton has just joined the lineup, but instead of simply playing music he will 'take the audience through a multimedia exploration of his career as an innovative musician, radical live performer and pop Sci-Fi icon'. One only hopes he won't follow the conventions of Funkadelic's live performances with a man in a nappy joining him on stage.
The rest of the lineup includes everything from human rights lawyers to food futurologists, and includes Jon Ronson (author of The Psychopath Test) and NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.
The other musical addition is composer Stevie Wishart, who will be creating an installation made up of futuristic mutated instruments, 'joining up music history and all the digital possibilities of the future.'
