Morrissey has been causing controversy yet again, apparently telling a fan he can't sign an autograph for them because he 'has Ebola'.
Posting on fan site Morrissey solo, an avid follower of the former Smith's frontman reportedly approached the singer at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, and after being denied a photo by his bodyguard asked for an autograph, prompting the somewhat misguided response.
The full post from the fan, who actually wasn't too disheartened by the situation, reads as follows: "I met morrissey tonight but unfortunately his bodyguard would not allow me to take a picture and when I asked morrissey for his autograph he told me he couldn’t because he has ebola…. typical morrissey answer… still exciting though."
Morrissey is yet to make a statement on whether he actually has the life threatening disease, but considering he was walking round a busy airport and has just announced a UK tour, it's pretty safe to say he was just being smarmy.
