A$AP Rocky's acting debut will be revealed later this week, with the rapper appearing in new film Dope.
Set to premiere at Sundance Film Festival later this week the A$AP Mob star reportedly plays a supporting role in the film, which is described as “a coming of age comedy/drama for the post hip-hop generation."
The film follows a 90's 'hip hop geek' who aims to leave his neighbourhood of Inglewood, California for Harvard University, with Rocky playing the role of a character whose name is yet to be revealed. However, he is meant to have a bonafide 'supporting role' in the film.
Vince Staples, Casey Veggies and other MC's will also be making cameos in the film, which stars Forest Whitaker, Blake Anderson, Zoe Kravitz and Shameik Moore.
Rocky reportedly requested an audition for his role after helping his girlfriend Chanel Iman learn her lines, with director Rick Famuyiwa offering him a position because of his natural charisma.
