Australian electro four-piece Hiatus Kaiyote have covered Gorillaz' number one hit 'Dare' for Like A Version; a segment for Australian radio network Triple J.
The cover is completely unique, merging out of this world electro sounds with a funky bassline beat that nods to classic soul. As does frontwoman Nai Palm's moreish voice - with impressive range and tasty trills.

The band's second LP, entitled Choose Your Weapon, is due to drop 5 May this year. It follows their acclaimed debut Tawk Tomahawk - nominated for the best R&B performance Grammy for the track 'Nakamarra', and praised by the likes of Prince, Erykah Badu and Pharrell Williams. Let's hope the second album is as diverse, unique and exciting as the first.
