Always delightfully earnest, the new track (if it is a new track) from the singer features Flowers' trademark magical synth and piano-led sound - the only thing missing is that familiar Texan voice.
Flowers is working with producer Ariel Rechtshaid on the follow-up to 2010's 'Flamingo' while The Killers take a break.
Speaking to NME about his sessions with Rechtshaid (known for his work with Haim, Sky Ferreira and Vampire Weekend) he revealed that he's looking to make some big changes: "Change is good and there's always growth. I'm always looking for that."
It also appears to be a genuinely collaborative effort this time round: "It's nice to steer the ship and that's what you'd think I’d do on my own album, but I'm letting Ariel take over every now and then. That's led to some really exciting things and sounds I would never have used."
