Tickets for Marina and the Diamonds' live return, which will come in the form of an intimate show at London’s Oslo, go on sale today (27 February) at 9am. Full dates and ticket details are below.
The word “intimate” is banded around far too often these days, and seems to refer to anything that’s not Wembley Stadium - but this comeback show really is intimate. The capacity of Hackney’s Oslo, which only opened a year ago, is just 375.
Diamandis’ third album, Froot, is set for release on 6 April. She’s accompanied the singles released so far with the news of various US festivals, including SXSW and Coachella. She might be “obsessed with the mess that’s America”, but thankfully, the Welsh singer won’t be forsaking the UK entirely.
Speaking to DIY, who will be hosting the gig, Diamandis said: "I’m equal parts nervous and excited because it really is my first show back! I’m just like, ‘Holy shit!’ The main thing is creating an atmosphere that’s really welcoming, both from the audience and me. It’s gonna be a trip! It’s gonna be really amazing to be in such a small space with so many hardcore fans."
Marina and the Diamonds’ London gig takes place at the Oslo on 11 March. Tickets are on sale today (27 February) at 9am. For tickets and more information, click here.
