Chris Brown’s assault case involving Rihanna, has been closed after six years and his probation has finally end.
The judge ruled that the singer had finally satisfied the conditions of his sentence, and made the decision in Los Angeles at a hearing on Friday. Following the infamous 2009 incident, Brown was forced to enter in enrol in anger management classes and complete community service hours. However, since then there was a felony assault charge, a hit-and-run incident, and a public fight with Drake.
Ultimately, the singer was thrown in jail from March to June of last year, and also had to spend time in treatment centres after being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. It seems now that this is all he will face after the above incidents.
He reacted positively to the result, tweeting (and since deleting): “IM OFF PROBATION!!!!!!!! Thank the Lord !!!!!!"
Recently, Kendrick Lamar revealed the samurai themed video for his track ‘Autumn Leaves’ . Whilst we here at Gigwise aren’t huge fans of the song, we can say that we absolutely love Kendrick Lamar’s verse on the track.
