The Weeknd debuted a new track while headlining a YouTube SXSW showcase on Friday. Watch the footage below.
The new track, rumoured to be called 'Mood Music', is not yet confirmed to feature on a new album by The Weeknd. A mellow new tease, the track features Abel Tesfaye's vocals sounding sombre as ever, with the track eventually building to a drop so bassy that it feels like you're being thrown down a slide headfirst. It bodes well for future material from the Candian alt-R&B singer.

The Weeknd recently contributed two tracks, including 'Earned It', to the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack. Tesfaye performed 'Earned It' on the special SXSW edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
It was recently revealed that The Weeknd will be collaborating with Diddy, on the latter's return to producing.
