First Great Western have named their high-speed train after Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis.
In one of the more bizarre tributes we've reported, the high-speeed Power Car No. 43026, which runs from Paddington station to South Wales and the south west of England, is now called the Michael Eavis train.
This particular train was chosen because it runs through Castle Cary, the nearest station to Glastonbury Festival - which this year is set to host the likes of Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Florence + The Machine and more.
Speaking of the tribute, Michael Eavis said, "There have been ups and downs over the last 45 years of the festival but this is one of the best moments. Just think of this train heading down to Somerset and Devon, think of it at night rolling through those valleys and it reaching the coast at Dawlish. It’s magical, isn’t it?"
Magical might be pushing it.
Eavis continued: "It’s not just a little goods train or something, it’s a proper engine. Public transport is important to Glastonbury. We encourage people to arrive by train or bus rather than car."
