Sly & The Family Stone at Woodstock 1969 - A classic from the Woodstock Weekend, the group brought the funk to the festival alongside the likes of Hendrix and The Who.
37. Nine Inch Nails at Lollapalooza 1991 - Everyone's favourite rock nihilists played a chaotic set at Lollapalooza where the group offered up a raucous spectacle, which saw them destroying and smashing up their equipment.

26. Green Day at T in the Park 2005 - in the wake of breakthrough album American Idiot, Green Day received a swell of popularity, their show at the Scottish bash had them welcoming an unknown 18 year old fan to the stage to play bass guitar for the track 'Longview'.
25. Bloc Party at Reading 2009 - Reading Festival is of significance to Bloc Party as the band step up one stage at a time over the years. Had it not been for the groups hiatus the headline slot could have been there's, but it was 2009's set which turned out to be the peak.

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds at Big Day Out 1996 - The Bad Seeds show at their native Australian Big Day Out festival showed the group at the height of their powers spurred on by a collaboration with Kylie Minogue on the track 'Where The Wild Roses Grow'. Minogue joined the band on stage to perform a lustrous version of the murder ballad which projected a compelling chemistry between the unlikely pair.

Dolly Parton at Glastonbury 2014 - Dolly Parton surprised everybody at Glastonbury last year with a stunning greatest hits set, the country singer owned took the legends spot which had everyone old and young enticed, with fantastic on-stage banter to match.
