After sparking huge concern by posting a suicide note on Facebook stating that she had taken an overdose, Sinead O'Connor has reportedly been found "safe and sound".

Yesterday (29 November), the singer posted a long message on Facebook claiming to have taken an overdose in an effort to end her own life. "I have taken an overdose," she wrote. "There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home, I'm at a hotel, somewhere in ireland, under another name."

She added, "I'm such a rotten horrible mother and Person, that I've been alone. Howling crying for weeks. And been told by them all t go fuck myself. I'm invisible. I don't matter a shred to anyone."

The note concluded, "My children don't care if I live r [sic] die anyway. Neither do their dads. Everyone is better off. Never ever do this to a woman again. Let this be your lesson. I survived it when John waters did it.. I can't survive Jake doing it."

The singer had posted several other messages over the weekend, mostly addressing the custody battle over her youngest children. The 'Jake' to whom she refers is her older son, Jake Reynolds.

Now, TMZ reports that law enforcement sources have found O'Connor "safe and sound" in Dublin, and that she is receiving medical attention.
