More about: slaves
17 December 2015: Punk duo Slaves rocked out hard at the O2 Brixton Academy in front of a backdrop of two innocent looking puppies last night.
The soft and tender puppies looked on at the duo who were the contrasting opposite. Dressed in black and white, they looked like a more menacing version of the White Stripes, with frontman Laurie Vincent even rocking a black version of Jack White's red and white guitar. Drummer Isaac Newman certainly had more energy than Meg ever did, refusing to sit down whilst he bashed away at his drum kit.
The British rockers played a 20 song setlist, with many tracks lifted from their latest album, Are You Satisfied?, as well as favourites from their earlier records. A sneaky cover of Skepta's 'Shutdown' went down well too.
