Folk star Turner plays triumphant show in London
12 February, 2014: Frank Turner returned to London for one of his biggest and most triumphant gigs of his career at the massive O2 Arena. Check out our awesome and exclusive photos from the show here.
Speaking to Gigwise before the show about what to expect from him performing on much larger stages, Turner said he was daunted but was working to keep the spirit of his music intact.
"It's certainly out of my comfort zone," he said. "My crew and I spend a lot of time thinking about it and planning it, because it's a hard to think to get right and make it feel like an event that's inclusive and cool and fun. It's harder to maintain that in a large venue, but it's not impossible."
If the reaction from his fans is anything to go by, he certainly pulled it off last night.
