Their "magnetic" live show has been turning heads recently, including that of The Jam's Paul Weller and Photographer, Hedi Slimane. Their self-released EP is entitled Fizzy Liquid was recorded at Weller's Black Barn Studio. So if you were wondering where the serrated hooks and authentic rock'n'roll sneer White Room exude came from, that'd be it.
"White Rooms songs are getting stronger and more defined. Fizzy Liquid is a testament to that. A band to watch out for." Weller said and the latest single, 'You'll See', is even further evidence of that.
Pulling influence and paying homage to the whole spectrum of rock music, there are elements of punk, indie-rock, Britpop and even psychedelica if you're considering the visual aspect of 'You'll See''s video.
Frontman Jake said of the video: "We were just knocking about rehearsing, we have my dads old Hi8 camera so we decided on the spot to make something" - and that something is pretty damn great.
