Muse have been announced as the first headliners for next year's Rock In Roma festival.
The festival takes place throughout June and July at Rome's Capannell Racebourse, and sees huge acts playing on most days during the summer months.
Muse announced via Twitter that they are the first act confirmed for the festival, and will play on 18 July.

Meanwhile, following the news that Slipknot will headline Download 2015, Muse are strongly rumoured to join them on the bill.
The band are currently in the studio recording their seventh album, and will also headline Bilbao BBK Live festival and Portugal's Nos! Alive next summer.
