Noel Gallagher has said that Paul Weller is against the idea of an Oasis reunion, even threatening the pair's friendship if it happened.
Speaking to NME, Gallagher detailed how the former Jam frontman has repeatedly tried to deter the brit-pop band from reforming: "He threatens me that if I ever go back in Oasis that'll be it between us," he explained.
"He always says 'You fucking heard all these fucking things about your fucking reunion?' and I'm like, 'Yeah, I know' and he goes 'You’re not fucking do it?' and I'm like, 'No', and he’s going 'Good good good'."
Gallagher then concluded: "Basically, if Oasis ever did get back together, which is highly unlikely, I’d have to leave London and move back to Manchester… because he’d put my fucking windows in."
Despite the jokes, Gallagher and Weller are obviously very close friends, with the Oasis man describing him as "fucking amazing" after detailing he helped work on his forthcoming seconds album.
There are currently no revealed plans for an Oasis reunion, but as always Gallagher has teased the possibility of something happening, recently saying that he is keeping the weekend of Glastonbury 2015 free.
Noel Gallagher will release his second solo album Chasing Yesterday on 2 March 2015.
