Madonna is reportedly set to perform at The Brit Awards next month for the first time in 20 years.
The Mirror reports that the pop icon will apparently close the ceremony, which takes place next month, performing tracks from across her illustrious back catalogue and forthcoming album Rebel Heart.
A source told the tabloid “Madonna wants to perform to the biggest number of people for the maximum impact and there’s no better place for a controversy-filled Madonna performance than the Brits."
"She has already confirmed she will perform at the Grammys, when she will debut the new music, but her album is due out on March 9, a month after the LA ceremony, so she wants another large platform to perform her songs on just before it is released."
The Brits are yet to confirm whether Madonna will perform at the awards, however earlier this week it was revealed that Royal Blood and George Ezra would perform at the ceremony alongside Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Taylor Swift.
The Brits take place on 25 February at The 02 Arena in London, Madonna's Rebel Heart is out 9 March.
