Bjork: She's been rumoured for Latitude pretty much every year since its inception, but the Icelandic wonder hasn't played yet. She certainly matches Benn's description as someone they've been trying to get for years, and with stunning new album Vulnicura out, could we expect a trip to Suffolk with a string quartet? She's already been confirmed for Wilderness Festival, so watch this space....
Alt-J: Benn said that one of this year's headliners had 'risen through the ranks'. Having headlined in 2013 and just played a mind-blowing sold-out show at The O2 in London, surely no one fits the bill better than Mercury winners Alt-J?
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds: We've been told that one of the headliners has done so before. Well, The Wolfman and co have done it twice - and they never disappoint. We'd welcome them back with open arms.
Paolo Nutini: Another previous headliner long overdue a return is this Scottish stadium-filler. Could we see some Caustic Love at Latitude 2015?
The Cure: Goth godfather Robert Smith and his band have also been tipped to play for as long as we can remember. They've no dates for 2015 announced yet, but we wouldn't be too surprised if an epic three-hour headline set was announced for 2015.
Lana Del Rey: With a new album due this year and her only UK appearance in recent memory being at Glasto 2014, we'd say that Lizzy Grant is long overdue a huge festival slot - and late night at Latitude is perfect for her sultry, sophisticated pop noir.
Ride: The shoegaze icons are back and have already lined up for Field Day and a smattering of other UK festivals. A stop-off in Suffolk would also make sense.
The National: Another previous headliner rumoured for a return. Their historic set headlining The O2 last year and the world's adoring reaction to Trouble Will Find Me is more than enough just cause, but they're said to be bunkering down to work on their next album. Could it be too soon?
Patti Smith: The legendary punk poet is playing Horses in its entirety this summer. Nothing could be more fitting for the celebration of all of the arts that is Latitude.
Two Door Cinema Club: They were forced to pull out at the last minute last year due to illness, and be replaced by Lily Allen. Is it too predictable that they finally fulfil their destiny in 2015?
Florence The Machine: Our Flo has an album due this June and has announced festival dates pretty much everywhere expect the UK. Could she headline Latitude for a second time?
Depeche Mode: The synth pop legends are banded about Glasto and Latitude each and every year. Will we finally get our wish one way or another in 2015?
New Order: They've promised fans a new album this year - their first since 2005 and without founding bassist Peter Hook. They blew away Bestival a couple of years ago, and we'd daresay they'd do the same at Latitude with new material, synth gems and Joy Division classics.
Interpol: Having stormed a very rainy evening when they headlined back in 2008, the 'Pol have been delighting fans and critics since dropping 2014's El Pintor - one of the finest records of their career. Maybe it's about time they brought a little doom and gloom back to Latitude?
Manic Street Preachers: In the last two years they've released two mighty fine albums in the soulful Rewind The Film and the forward-thinking Futurology. To cap it all off, they blew everyone away when they celebrated 20 years of The Holy Bible by playing it in full. Critics' favourites and festival-friendly, they're surely the perfect band for Latitude?
Portishead: There's just no better way to spend the twilight hour of a dusty July night than with some heart-melting seminal trip-hop is there?
