From Bowie to Muse and beyond

There's a very good reason that Glastonbury might very well be the most legendary festival on Earth: not only is it a weird and wonderful world of culture, peace and love completely unto itself - but it has always attracted the biggest and best names on the planet.

Yes, from it's humble beginning with a makeshift stage in 1971 when tickets were just £1, to its standing today as the planet's flasgship festival, all of the greats have stood proud in the shadow of the Pyramid Stage - from David Bowie and Elvis Costello to Muse and Kings Of Leon, via The Cure, Oasis, Blur, Pulp and pretty much anyone who is anyone. And that's before you reach the hundreds of world class names on the rest of the bill.

So to celebrate the approach of Glastonbury 2015, here's every Glastonbury line-up in history.
