Genre invention isn’t exactly a new thing. When Nirvana burst onto the scene, suits were quick to brand them ‘grunge’ so they could sell grunge identikits in every Wal-Mart this side of Texas. So when Klaxons came along, full of bleeps and ambition, nobody knew where to look. New rave you say? Rather than carrying the “leading lights” tag around like a bag of bricks, Klaxons simply turn out this brilliant slice of pop genius. ‘It’s Not Over Yet’ takes the band storming out of the blocks and into the summer.
