Not quite as apocalyptic as Dylan going electric but just as fucking cool, Jack White ditches his trusty axe in favour of the piano on The White Stripes latest release ’My Doorbell’. And my oh my doesn’t he do a fine job of tickling the ivories with Meg unashamedly bashing the drums like a playschool toddler in support? Jack shrieks and shrills along to the almost mesmeric deep fried rhythm that’s tinged with down home charm.
