Damon Albarn has performed 'Song 2' solo for the first time. Watch footage of the show below.
The performance took place in Boston on Monday night (9 June), it also seemed to catch the crowd completely unawares.
"Are we doing this? If it doesn't go well I'll never do it again. Just get in your groove," said Albarn before the infamous riff and drum beat began to play. Basically the strobe filled performance looks incredibly epic.

During his recent tour in support of Everyday Robots, Albarn has been dusting off a series of Blur and Gorrillaz hits with his band. This is however the first time he has performed 'Song 2' without the aid of Blur.
