The historic event took place during Pharrell's headline set at the festival, with Shay Hayley and Chad Hugo joining Williams on stage to perform 'Rockstar', the hit from their 2001 album In Search Of...
After regularly confessing his love for the group over the last few years, the reunion unsurprisingly bought Tyler The Creator to tears, evident in the fan-filmed footage that has recently surfaced from the festival.

N.E.R.D last released an album in 2010, however Shay Hayley did recently hint that new material could be in the works from the trio (assuming Pharrell's schedule ever lightens up of course).
Pharrell himself has just rounded off a string of hugely successful shows and festivals in support of his 2014 album Dear Girl.
