Scroobius Pip has recorded an alternative Christmas message, watch it below.
One half of alternative duo Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip, and am acclaimed spoken word artist in his own right, yesterday (25 December) saw Pip upload a 17 minute video that both summarised 2014, and looked to the year ahead.
September saw the duo play their last ever show together at Bestival, and the clip sees the rapper describe the experience as "overwhelming", before detailing how he felt about bringing an end to the project: "having done this together for eight years or so, it was amazing to get that last show at Bestival with thousands of people there to see us off" he explained.
"The support you've given us this year has been amazing".
He then continues to thank fans for their support on his radio show and live spoken word performances, before detailing that next year will see him avoid the stage entirely: "The reality is, in the last eight years i've never had a year where i've done less than 100 shows" he details, before explaining that he will then be focusing his attention on other pursuits, including a new solo record, which will feature a collaboration with Blink 182's Travis Barker, as well as his distraction pieces podcast and a one off show on the BBC.
