Azealia Banks has released a new video for 'Ice Princess' from her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste. Watch it below.
The Harlem rapper stars as an icy Medusa in a video which matches the equally venomous track, sitting on a frozen throne encircled by a giant serpent and resting on a bed of diamonds, attended by an army of silver-blue armoured soldiers. She then rides through the darkened stormy sky on the back of the snake, bursting giant bubbles of psychedelic colour.
It is a suitably over-the-top offering from Banks, whose career has been characterised by numerous spats both online and in person, and a no-holds-barred attitude to flair.
The video was made by We Were Monkeys, who have previously worked with Of Monsters and Men and Coheed and Cambria. The company has had prior experience creating monstrosities for videos, including those that populate Of Monsters and Men's 'Little Talks' video.
