Paul Weller's iconic seventies band The Jam have been named the most overrated band of all time by Gigwise readers.
Showing little support for the Modfather's early musical incarnation, readers voted the 'Going Underground' stars the band least deserving of their place in the music history books, with Coldplay just behind in second place.
British indie-rockers Kasabian also place poorly in the countdown, landing third place, with Kings of Leon and The Beach Boys at No.4 and 5 respectively.
Following their triumph in our poll to find the best band of the past 60 years in celebration of the Queen's Jubilee, Queen were named the most deserving of their acclaim, drawing the most positive response from Gigwise readers ahead of The Beatles, Nirvana, Foo Fighers and The Rolling Stones at the top of the results.
The poll is still open, so if you disagree with these results, cast your vote now.
