There are certain things that are always going to occur at festivals. There'll be music obviously, bands you don't like, bands you do, copious amounts of alcohol and in most cases, friends.
However, one other source of entertainment is always the drunken people you see making idiots of themselves. Whether it be through ridiculous fancy dress, or through attempting to start chants and failing horrendously, festivals supply in abundance. A video has recently gone viral (thanks to a little help from Ladbible) which claims to be a clear example from Glastonbury 2008. Now remember, Glastonbury 2008 was the year that Kings of Leon became a mainstream attraction, Jay-Z defied criticism to win over the crowd and The Verve played one of their last UK live dates. Music is what people should've been watching, yet a few lucky folk got to watch this unfold...
The minute and a half clip starts fairly innocently, with a clearly intoxicated man wearing a hat finding solace on a bench. Some young punter takes the chance to grab a photo whilst sat next to him, before someone with a video camera starts to film the crowd around the bench.
It's at this point that the poor intoxicated man starts to sway backwards and forwards, ever so slightly. The crowd start baying awaiting what they know will be a hilarious moment in their funfilled weekend. It takes a full 45 seconds, with the crowd around geeing up the moment... And remember this is Glastonbury, so it's VERY muddy.

Never a dull moment at a festival...
