While we continue to mourn the death of Prince, it's worth remembering that he was always a pioneer and innovator. In the 1990s, that involved being at the height of technology - releasing his own, bizarre PC CD-Rom game. Why not take a trippy tour around his home?
As re-discovered this week by Mashable, Prince Interactive was released in 1994 and guided you around His Royal Badness' Paisley Park mansion and estate on a series of challenges and quests, as was befitting the 'dungeons and dragons' games of the era.

As you click your way around the dark, fantasy reimagining of Prince's home, you're invited to click on walls and records to play his music - before trippy scenes unveils as holographic women and scantily clad sirens invite you to 'touch them'...
Along the way, there are games, music videos, as well as opportunities to explore his bedroom, wardrobe, library.
Naturally, the game is only available second-hand now - so best get yourself on Amazon or eBay, but it seems like a pretty fitting tribute to His Royal Badness for any true, hardcore fan. As Mashable's Adam Roseburg concludes: "Still, as you can plainly see: this relic from 1994 is perfectly vintage Prince.
"It's unapologetically weird, aggressively sexual and steeped in psychedelic future funk vibe that defined the Purple One's '90s heyday."
