Before you hear them on the radio, telly, Hot New Bands; before they’ve got a manager or an agent; before you see them smashing the main stages, it's more than likely they'll have played or received early support from This Feeling.

In February, TF shared their annual big list of Ones to Watch in the world of indie music in 2022. Every week, you can meet a new artist that made it onto that list...

If you had to put your music in two genres, which would you choose?

Rock and roll.

What kind of stuff can you imagine your music being the soundtrack for?

Anything with a high speed car chase.

Tell us an older artist and a brand new artist that inspires you.

First have to say one inspiration would be Liam Gallagher who has seemingly rose from the ashes like a phoenix and shown everyone he can do it just as good as  anyone on his bill. He is the man. New artist I mean there’s not many but if anyone have to be Fontaine’s DC, basically invented their own sound that is the  catalyst for the new post-punk movement.

What's the best part of playing live?

Best part about playing live shows is watching people turn into animals when they get the feeling of liberty, accompanied by chaos and carnage.

Tell us about your latest release.

We will be releasing a single in the late autumn. It's called 'Sorry Officer'.

What have you got coming up?

We have a number of festival shows at Lakefest, Mucky Weekender, Rewired and  Shiiine On plus a couple more shows in Norwich and Cheltenham.

What other bands tipped by This Feeling this year do you like or  looking forward to seeing?

Megan Wyn and The Utopiates.

See them live:
