More about: Reading & Leeds
Okay, so Rage Against The Machine pulled out. But did The 1975 suit the (very) young crowd of Reading/Leeds better in the end anyway? It's likely. Though many older among us may have gone along for RATM, it does us good to remember who this festival is really for: teenagers who have just gotten their GCSE or A Level exam results.
In this capacity, Reading/Leeds functions perfectly well: that there was a particularly good spread of artists at this year's event — plus a popular if genre left-turn replacement of a headliner — was only a bonus.
Here, you'll find a gallery of the headliners and more from all over the Reading site. Behold 50 shots of Reading 2022, by Niamh Louise.
